Bo Nix, for six. (Eric Evans photo/GoDucks.com)

There’s an image that’ll stick with me a bit from Oregon’s 41-20 win over No. 12 BYU and in my head it was shot from a wide angle.

The first thing I see is Troy Franklin, floating. The sophomore receiver already runs like he’s moving with the clouds, but seeing him leap, elevate and hover through the air?

Haven’t seen anything like that from an Oregon receiver in a long time.

But pull that image back a little bit and take a look at Bo Nix. Bo Nix, that’s a heck of a name for a football player, isn’t it? And that throw, that thing left Bo’s hand at Oregon’s 40 and arched through the air like kids dream about until it landed just where Franklin could reach it nearly 60 yards down field. Nix’s game will be remembered for the three rushing touchdowns, the way he threw blocks and the way he ended the Oregon quarterback debate once and for all.

But don’t forget the way that throw looked. It was a thing of beauty.
