We get it, it’s tough out there these days.
Between rising costs at the gas pump and that light feeling in your wallet after leaving the grocery store, inflation has done a number on all of us. Heck, it seems like we can’t even go a day without hearing about another one of our favorite subscription services becoming more expensive.
Well, we here at The I-5 Corridor think it’s time for someone to finally do something about this.
And that someone is us.
Starting today, this Substack is taking a stand by lowering our price from $60 to $50 annually and from $6 to $5 monthly.
Some common questions:
If you’re lowering prices, does this mean we can expect a change in content/coverage?
Nope.
How long will this promotion last for?
Until the lights turn off.
Why are you doing this?
Just trying to do our part, ma’am.
I’m already a subscriber. Will my price lower, too?
Technically, no. The Substack platform only allows us to lower prices for new customers. However — now don’t tell anyone this — if you let your subscription lapse, you can resubscribe at the new price. We’re going to put this next part in bold, though: You don’t have to do that if you’re happy with things as they are. We won’t stop you from doing nothing, because you are a good person who is content with doing your part in supporting local journalism.
I’m already a subscriber. I love The I-5 Corridor. I want to pay more.
Gosh, thank you. We don’t have that option available right now, but The I-5 Corridor is on Venmo.
How can we be as patriotic as you?
Share this post, encourage your friends to subscribe and together we’ll do our part to get things back to normal.
Thank you I-5 Corridor
You’re welcome, reader.
How selfless. Will the I-5 run for office?
6x12=72. 5x12=60. So how have lowered prices?
