The quarterbacks are back! The quarterbacks are back! Christian Caple of On Montlake and Tyson Alger of The I-5 Corridor try to figure out what that means for the Pac-12.
Man - I feel like realignment is forcing Huskies and Ducks fans together and I'm not sure how I feel about it. One thing that is clear is that the programs are a package deal whether they stay or go. I think Lanning is a class act and a good coach, I liked his aggressive calls even though they backfired. I find myself thinking man - I hope the Ducks bury the LA schools and Utah. Lot of mixed emotions.
Don't worry Duck fan, I'll still be rooting on the beavs and be there to mock your team when they lose the civil war.
Great to see the tag-team of two of my favorite writers. Serious analysis with tongue-partially-in-cheek sarcasm. As someone who attended (and has love in his heart for) both UO and UW, it is great to see the cross-pollination. Plus now you both don't have to sit in on those Athletic Pac-12 roundtables where you had to scratch up something interesting to say about Cal.
Lastly, silicone spray works great at removing the onerous Athletic sticker from the fridge without damaging the finish...
Love this collaboration - and have subscribed to both the I-5 Corridor and On Montlake. I did not know The Athletic dropped Husky Football; just assumed the capable Caple decided to go the route of Alger, Canzano and others. I'm a die-hard Duck's fan and have only respect for the Mutts on Montlake. Let's keep it civil and compete like rabbit dogs.
As someone who owns plenty of logo apparel and the occasional nice mug from a company that got bought out, lost their way, and laid me off, man, get all the mileage out of that mug you can. YETI mugs are nice. And you did the work and deserve all the credit for the logo anyway!
Good stuff. Loved when you two were going back-and-forth at The A, very glad this could become a regular thing. I-5 Corridor keeps the content rolling out.
Home-and-Home: Can the Pac-12's play match the hype in 2023?
