Love me some CJ! I'm not necessarily ready for him to leave but I am excited to see the talent behind him show out over the rest of this season and in the years ahead!
I feel bad for the kid, but I never felt the same connection to him as other recent backs in Oregon history because it just seemed like he was injured so often. When I reread some of his single game heroics, I think maybe I'm just suffering from selection bias. Maybe he wasn't out with injury any more than Royce or LaMike. But for all those great games, it seems like there were so many others where he left early with minor injuries.
I wish we could have one season where the team isn't wrecked with injuries.
Great story. Watching CJ's game winning TD run against Washington in-person at Autzen was the pinnacle of my career as a Ducks fan.
