The Oregon Ducks have never played in front of that many fans before.
They made sure to look good for the occasion.
Playing in front of 110,576 at Michigan’s Big House, the Ducks used a monster first half before icing the game with a 7-minute touchdown drive in the fourth quarter to secure the 38-17 win.
Noah Whittington rushed for two touchdowns, Dillon Gabriel ran and threw for a score, while Traeshon Holden led all Oregon receivers with a career-high 149 yards — particularly important in the absence of Tez Johnson, who left the game in the first half with an upper-body injury.
The Ducks improved to 9-0 on the year, 6-0 in Big Ten play and cemented their spot — along with Indiana — at the top of the conference standings with previously undefeated Penn State’s loss to Ohio State.
Maryland is up next at Autzen.
