Oregon Ducks transfer portal tracker 2025
Follow along through another offseason of roster movement.
Last updated: Jan. 14 (Emmanuel Pregnon)
After signing day, Dan Lanning wanted to get some sleep — well earned for the Oregon coach who just inked the program’s best signing class in team history.
There’s little chance he slept in the next morning, however. Lanning’s Oregon Ducks were preparing for Penn State in the Big Ten title game and, at 12-0, had national championship aspirations. That’s enough for anyone’s plate, but Lanning and his staff will also be navigating the ever-complicated transfer portal waters over the coming weeks.
The Ducks will add players. The Ducks will lose players. It’s all part of the juggling that comes with building and sustaining a roster here in this era of college football.
“That’s our job. We do it every day,” Lanning said. “We continue to evaluate what we want to be able to add and it’s always about strengthening our program and seeing where we can, you know, improve.”
As part of The I-5 Corridor’s own continuing efforts to improve, we’re going to do our part to help sift through the transfer madness by keeping track this offseason of Oregon’s comings and goings.1 The 30-day portal window officially opens on Dec. 9, but we’re already starting to see announcements showing up for those departing.
We expect this space to be busy: Oregon took in 14 transfers last season and saw 20 players depart through the portal.
To not bombard you with each transaction, I’m only going to send out this email once. I’ll update the web version with each Oregon portal entry or addition, so feel free to bookmark it. I’ll also try to share regularly on social media.
Players on the “transfers out” list either appear in the transfer portal or have publicly announced they plan to enter; posts/reports are hyperlinked to the player’s name. Players on the “transfers in” list have publicly committed to Oregon, but have only signed financial-aid paperwork (i.e. been announced by the school) where indicated.
I’ll also try to denote any draft declarations, medical retirements or other non-transfer attrition.
Let’s jump in.
