I generally don't celebrate anyone losing their job, and won't do so here. Most coaches of pro and college sports know they will most likely be shown the door before they themselves decide to move on. I wish Neville and his family well. I do think his comment "I’ve got an incredible bunch of talented players, but if talented players aren’t willing to do the jobs that San Jose's players..." is telling. Was he actually throwing them Under the Bus?
I mean, it's not super weird to me because I pitched them the idea and they're paying to republish the stories I write on here. But, ideally, they should have a full-time beat writer on the beat.
