Three questions, if you will indulge me: 1. Can the Timbers realistically hope to go deep in the playoffs this year?; 2. How many games will the Oregon Football team win this year (bonus for playoff predictions)?; Are you down with Damian Lillard's return to PDX?
Hey Tyson, in your last pod, Justin continued his campaign to improve wifi in Autzen. I used to wholeheartedly agree. But the more I think about it, the more I realize not having wifi is probably a good thing. Ohio State fans were famously floored by the noise of Autzen. Does that happen if fans have a rock solid phone signal? I would guess they have good wifi at the Shoe. In fact, I would imagine all the stadiums with the new fancy LED light shows are very proud of them. But how much distraction do we fans need? What happens on the field is what really matters. Not trying to be a curmudgeon, but maybe the one thing we do keep traditional is the in the stadium experience and keeping it about football. Especially in a place like Autzen. So yeah, I guess not a question as much as a rant. But your thoughts are appreciated. Cheers!
You know, Tyson, meant to send you a note to encourage the students to be curious. To refuse to take things at face value, to look for the story behind the story. But alas, too late.
Loved Justin’s analogy of schadenfreude in regard to rivalries. So relatable, and around house, behind enemy lines in Washington, schadenfreude figures prominently.
I think the question on everyone's minds is what do you think the Timbers should be targeting for the summer transfer window?
Do you feel the "Big Dumper" nickname for Cal Raleigh was a missed opportunity for your Cuties nickname?

It’s inevitable that a big story would drop once you’re ensconced in Corvallis for the week, but did you have “Dame back” on the ol’ bingo card?

Thanks for your unique point of view.
