Some thoughts after spending 8 hours stuck in a Portland snowstorm
It’s always Nate’s fault
Always
Alaska never truly leaves you!
Tyson, you turned a lemon into lemonade. Actually enjoyed reading about your unfortunate and lengthy adventure. Keep up the excellent journalism!
Thank you!
Wow! So sorry you had to endure that but I am looking forward to your story on Bo. Portland & snow just don’t mesh well❄️ luckily we only get snow once or twice a year🥺
Once or twice a year, knock on wood.
Shooting for Monday on the Bo story. I think it'll be a good one. Thanks for reading Julie!
Kept me smiling - but definitely uncomfortable to be in the car that long!
I haven't heard any reports of people having to "relieve" themselves during the 8-9 hours of being stuck? Just wondering what people did?
Great work Tyson! That was insane
Thanks, Rian. I'm going to start my drive now to get back down to Eugene in time for spring practice.
Great story, fellow former Alaskan. You made it, giving new depth to the saga of Bo Nix. Look forward to reading it after you thaw out.
This feels cold. Then I remember some of those outdoor high school hockey games in ten below, with wind. What a wild place that is up there.
