The RB room is going to be a very fun situation to watch play out. I do really like way Cardwell runs, but I won't be surprised if he's beat out by the incoming transfers. Us Oregon fans like to fall in love with players who get limited or even no playing time (see the Trey Benson mention in this pod) but small sample sizes tend to skew perceptions. For example, a couple season stat lines:

50 att / 359yds (7.2ypc) / 3 TDs / 2 receptions for 49yds and a TD

61 att / 417yds (6.8ypc) / 3 TDs / 4 receptions for 3yds and 0 TDs

I'd use spoiler tags if I could, but the first one is Kani Benoit (soph. season) and the second is Byron Cardwell. You could pick apart the differences in their respective situations but both were behind two other RBs and when given the rock, showed a spark that made you think they might just break out once they got their chance.

Either way, that's one of the position groups I'm most confident in going into the season. I'm not going to get too attached to any of them as it's almost certain we're going to see a transfer or two in the future.

Hoping the audio format doesn't become more common. I don't have time to dedicate 20 mins to listening to something I could read in two or three minutes. (If there's a transcription somewhere, that would help.)
