This is what I try to tell people: I think the offseason content can be just as good/better than the in-season stuff. Appreciate you reading, Scott.

One thing in here that kind of bummed me out was the part about the future of kids from Oregon playing at U of O. Maybe an interesting periodic feature could be "catching up with...." and do a story on a kid from Oregon that played for the Ducks who then went onto the NFL. You could always ask that same question of each. Soooo many good players during the Brooks and Bellotti eras that built the foundation. Steve Greatwood and Mike Walter in the early Brooks era. JJ Birden, Chris Miller, Anthony Newman. I could go on (JJ Biden would have been an all pro in today's NFL). Be fun to hear what these guys are up to, some old stories, and their take on today. Shoot, Mike Walter, Chris Miller and Herbert all went to Sheldon. Anyway.. just a thought.

This was a great read from so many perspectives. Thank you, Tyson! My sister actually bought something from the guys to give me for my birthday, so it's cool to see their side of the experience too!

Oh this was a fun read. All the stuff behind the scenes…the comparison of the coaches, the games & of course the gear. I can’t believe someone could eat that much @ one time! Thanks for an awesome article & thank you to Bailey & Dawson. All the best to them always. Go Ducks💚💛

This is hands-down one of the best and most insightful player (or former player) interviews I’ve ever read.

Fantastic read Tyson.

Pretty amazing to listen to two very grounded mature men.

I can’t imagine what it would be like to spend the majority of your life focused on that level of excellence in a sport like football, from Pee-Wee to college with possible aspirations of beyond that, to then, in a finite moment not by choice, see it come to a conclusion.

Some don’t survive that abrupt transition well but it seems these two will as they will take the things learned throughout their experience and apply them elsewhere.

Pretty cool.
