Love this, Tyson. I have a soft place in my heart for old school newspapermen/women. And cancer, welp. My wife is undergoing chemo just now with radiation looming. Her attitude mirrors yours, Pete. Keep on keeping on, brother.

Great profile piece. All my best to Pete - It's a marathon not a sprint. Love and prayers and hope - from an Oncology Nurse.

Great Story, We hear often about Athletes that have heart and no doubt they do, but this dude has heart at a wholly different level, thank you Tyson for this story.

I taught with Pete’s mom for 9 years. Her husband Russ and kids Pete and Kristin were her world! She adored them and vice versa, they were a super close family! Both ‘kids’ figured out how to convert their passions into careers! It warms my heart to read about Pete’s journey. Your mama is fighting for you from heaven!

Great article Tyson. I hope he can kick Cancers butt & continue to do what he loves. Cancer took my mom 19 years ago. Not a day goes by where I don’t wish she could have beat it. Prayers to him & everyone out there fighting this disease❤️
