The Traffic Report: Andrew Greif on the NBA beat, Blazers and that 2014 Utah game.

Plus: An introduction to Corridor Clips.

Andrew Greif is in his sixth season covering the Los Angeles Clippers for the LA Times.

Had to type that one out before it felt real. Because while it feels just like yesterday Andrew and I were in the Rice-Eccles Stadium press box watching Joe Walker run back Kaelin Clay’s fumble at the one-yard line, the Oregonian’s time on the NBA beat has now actually surpassed his years on the Ducks.

With the NBA season beginning this week and the Ducks’ upcoming game in Salt Lake, I figured it would be a good time to check in with my old beat partner for this week’s Traffic Report.1

Corridor Clips

Here’s a piece Linus Brush-Mindell produced from Saturday’s Oregon/Washington State game for The I-5 Corridor. He got some stellar footage for someone who never stepped foot in Autzen Stadium before and I’m really excited to see how we can collaborate on some future projects down the road.

Coming Friday: Goodbye, Utah.

Apologies for my audio this week. Computer crashed as the file was processing and the feed from my mic didn’t end up being saved. Thankfully, Andrew sounds great.
