That's a great list of great sportswriters. Whatever happened to that Andrew Greif fellow?

I heard he’s running an Açaí bowl place down in Manhattan Beach.

I only subscribe to yours and Canzano’s blogs. I like the I-5 Corridor, because it’s exclusive to Oregon, mostly Ducks and Beavers (and sometimes those rivals up north). Canzano can sometimes go off the rails with non-sports pieces that I have little interest in. I will say that a higher tier subscription will ace me out of the market (not sure I need a Zoom call; I’m on Teams at work every day it seems). Just don’t give up. The dedicated fans will keep showing up here. Thanks.

Tyson, are you thinking about having guests on your podcast? Would be great to get Oregon players, coaches and staff to learn more about their operation and how they’ve become so successful (I’m U of O alum so don’t care so much about that other school in the wilderness).

Absolutely. Longer podcast interviews were a goal when I initially started the Corridor -- and definitely one of the sacrifices I had to make when making hours for the other job.

Tyson, it’s as if you had a direct conduit to my subconscious and inherently to my feelings about your publication. At various times throughout the existence of the I-5 Corridor, I had contemplated voicing some of my grumps and gripes about the “skimpy” content load, and had often mused as to the reasons behind the lack of volume. It’s fair to say I was spoiled with your output while you were at The Athletic, and in conjunction with the rest of the wonderful writers that used to cover the Pac 12. Needless to say I am on the verge of canceling my subscription with them, as it is a shell of what it used to be. I am happy to hear of your renewed conviction and the all or nothing courageous leap into all things I-5 Corridor. The hard truth? I hadn’t spoken to any of my sports loving friends about sending any American folding money your way, due to the lack of volume. That will not be the case moving forward. The quality has always been top notch, and I for one will be happy to pimp your site out to all of my sports loving buddies! Keep on keeping on Tyson!

Love the article. I relate as I jumped off the cliff in September 2022. Always wanted to pursue photography full time but never got the courage to risk it. So glad I did! It’s a process but I will never have to say “I wish I would have tried”. You will be successful.

This is great news! Your coverage this football season was amazing and the photographs were spectacular. Here's to a great 2024 for the I-5 Corridor.

Been with you since 2021, and I’ve enjoyed every thing you’ve done. Never once have I thought the content was “skimpy”. Being from the UK I don’t get much news if any about the Oregon so the I-5 Corridor is essential to me, it’s my only source of information about the Ducks. I even love the stories that cover other teams from the state so anything you write I’m sure you’ll ace it. I’ll try and convert my fellow brits, but as college football isn’t shown over here that might be a bit of a task. Looking forward to more great stories.

I've been a subscriber since day one(ish). I'm also an avid reader, and I pieced together that the quantity of writing was probably inversely proportional to how much you needed to get paid from other work. But I believe that good writing is worth paying for, and I appreciate you asking original subscribers if they'd be cool with upping the price if they want to. I went ahead and upped it because I want to keep reading the Corridor. Thanks for the great work.
