Interesting but could have waited until football season. How about some non-football articles such as the OSU baseball team, UO softball and women’s golf? The best series of track and field meets in history are in Eugene starting with the PAC-12 meet this weekend. If you can’t write about track then bring in Ken Goe for a few articles. Unfortunately this is turning into “I-5 Corridor Football” and little else.

TJA -- I'm happy to write about OSU baseball and I do appreciate you reading/listening, though I disagree with the premise of your comment. Within the last few weeks I've had stories on the Portland Thorns, a big feature on the UO women's golf team, an interview with an actor who played Phil Knight, an exit interview with a local radio host, a notebook item on the Portland Winterhawks and Ashton Eaton, a story on an local musician, a podcast about the Mariners, a story today on an Oregon high school football athlete and, yes, a few stories about Oregon football and basketball.

Ken Goe is great. He's also out of my price range. And the timing on this happened simply because I've been asking UO since last August to do a podcast with Kenny and they finally said yes.

Fair and valid comments about your range of articles. However, it would seem with the biggest international event to hit Oregon in decades (world T&F), and located squarely on I-5, you could find some angle to write about.
