I agree, Mike Yam was the pac-12 network to me. I loved listening to him. I'm glad he's doing well!
Also as a 27 year old I have never seen the Mariners in the playoffs. My parents aren't big sports fans so I wasn't watching in first grade for the 01 team. I've thoroughly enjoyed this season and it still feels surreal watching them right now in the playoffs.
I'm listening to the second part of the podcast now so apologies if his name is covered, but my name would be Kenji Johjima. He's one of those symbols of the Mariners of my childhood where he was decent enough but didn't quite meet expectations.
Mike Yam is one of my favorite broadcasters! So genuine & honest, thank you for a wonderful listen. I could not believe it when Pac 12 Network cut him loose but I am so happy he is in a good place & continuing to do what he loves & is so good at.

Good podcast all around!
My pick. Easy. Aye-Yai-Ayala.
Not the worst player but never felt more uncomfortable when Lou would signal with the right hand. Stomach’s in a knot just thinking of it.
He's no TIm Belcher.
