The All Coastal Conference at first blush, in my mind, came in a distant second to joining the Big 10, yet the matchups in both football and hoops struck a resonant chord. Those be some exquisite, mighty tasty matchups that the common fan, and equally as important, the powers that be looking at the bottom line fiscally, would be silly to ignore. After reading Jon Wilner’s mailbag column, the ACC has a Grant of Rights agreement that would prove to be a sizable impediment to this merger. Still, this is a tantalizing dream scenario.
