For those subscribers who don't know Tyson personally (and who live in the Portland area), I recommend you taking the time Thursday to stop by and meet him at the I-5 Corridor anniversary gathering at Lombard House. Or pop into his Zoom event on Friday. You'll see that your subscription dollars are going to someone who truly cares about building a cool community, and telling stories in a way that you'll enjoy reading. Cheers to one year!

I subscribed to the I-5 Corridor specifically because The Athletic STILL doesn't have an Oregon writer since your departure. I canceled my subscription there as soon as I found out what you were doing here. Congrats on taking a risk and finding success. Thank you!

Tyson, you are the best and at your best when writing from original reporting as opposed to from memory or secondary sources. You have a deep and smart perspective on sports in Oregon and you are tops when you add information and informed opinion within that context. Let's go around a second year together.

Big fan of the I-5 Corridor and a bigger fan of Tyson.

A great first year and I'm sure more to come.

I will need some beers at Lombard after this baseball season ends!

Congratulations on following your dream and making it work! I kept my Athletic subscription for a year because Mandel said they'd add an Oregon beat writer within a year. But it still hasn't happened and, in fact, Pac 12 coverage has further contracted. I won't renew when this year is up.

Keep up the good work!

The reason I subscribed to the Athletic was because you and Jason Quick were writing for them. No reason for me to read them anymore. I was glad to subscribe here when I saw you started it last year. Congrats on the one year annual and I'm lookin forward to the this one!
